Terms and conditions


You have enrolled in a program with ONLINECHALK, LLC. All techniques, materials (online and print), content, code, software, data, videos, session transcripts, copyrights, trademark rights and other intellectual and property rights used in connection with your program are the exclusive property of onlinechalk. You agree not to share, reproduce, sell, or distribute information obtained from onlinechalk, including course materials, to any third party and to only use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You also agree not to share your online onlinechalk password or allow anyone else to use the onlinechalk resources you purchased. onlinechalk grants you a limited, non-transferable license to use the software or documentation required to access the program’s services and materials, solely for your personal use. This license will end when your program, plan or service expires.

Enrollment in certain onlinechalk programs may be limited and will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

You are responsible for obtaining all necessary equipment, including telephone, computer hardware, and internet/wireless services, for accessing and using onlinechalk’s online services.

onlinechalk reserves the right to change these Student Enrollment Agreement Terms and Conditions at any time, in whole or in part, and changes will be effective upon posting.

  • A valid Credit or Debit card is required at the time of registration.
  • For all our tutoring session (including Bootcamps, College essays, Summer Camps, and courses that include tutoring), you must pay the course deposit amount (or may pay in full) at the time you enroll. If you paid only the deposit when you enrolled, then you must pay the balance of the course tuition in full by 5 days prior to the first scheduled module of the course.
  • For admission counseling services, you must pay upfront at the time of enrollment.
  • We will refund 10% of the fee, if you choose to withdraw your enrollment within 2 days after registration but before a scheduled tutoring/counseling session. The fee is not refundable once you start tutoring/counseling.



  • Class attendance is by appointment only and students can only attend classes on their scheduled appointment. Admittance will not be granted to those without a pre-arranged appointment.
  • Attendance matters, so make sure that the student is on time every time as per their appointment schedule


  • We evaluate the score you received on the official test after completing our program against your baseline starting score on the same test. Your most recent official test score or the score you received on your first practice test will be considered as a baseline test score.

  • You must attend all scheduled classes prior to your official test date and complete all required practice tests as scheduled, observing official time limits and breaks. Only practice tests taken in 1 sitting while observing official time limits for all sections and breaks will be counted as fulfilling this requirement. You should also follow your personalized study plan and keep track of your activities in the provided academic planner. 

  • You must take the official test for which your program is designed to prepare you on or before the recommended test date for your course. 
  • You must always adhere to the guidance of your tutor. 

  • If, after completing the program, your score on the official test is not higher than your starting score and all other guarantee requirements are met, we will refund your tuition.
  • Guarantee does not apply to the following plans: college essay, college prep and research internships.



  • The Unlimited SAT Prep program offers 24 hours of personalized 1:1 classes for the student’s first SAT attempt. Following the first SAT attempt, the program provides 2 classes per month for reviewing mistakes, clearing doubts, reviewing time management strategies and help with practice material.

  • Practice materials will be provided on our AI platform.

  • It is the responsibility of the student to complete the practice material in a timely and meticulous manner.
  • The student is expected to submit the completed practice material before the agreed-upon deadlines.
  • New practice material will only be sent once the previous practice sheets are completed and duly submitted before the due date.
  • Failure to complete the practice material may result in cancellation of scheduled meetings by the tutor.
  • In case the student fails to comply with completing the practice material or following the instructions, the tutor reserves the right to cancel scheduled meetings and the plan will immediately switch to a per class plan instead of unlimited. This is to ensure that the student is adequately prepared for the sessions and to maintain the effectiveness of the program.



  • All college essay programs except college essay mini will consist of two ” workshops” as introductory sessions.

  • Student may not use AI to draft essays.

  • It is the responsibility of the student to complete the essay drafts as per directed time lines. Please give a window of 48 hrs for a response/feedback.
  • The personal statement drafts must be finalized 10 days before EA/ED deadline. All supplemental drafts must be finalized 5 days/120 hours before the due date. Any review/feedback requested after that will be charged $100 per review/feedback.
  • Failure to complete the drafts in a timely manner may result in cancellation of scheduled meetings by the tutor.
  • The essential essay plan is limited to supplementals for 5 colleges. The comprehensive plan is limited to 10 colleges.
  • If you signed up as a bundle the number of sessions will be as per the welcome/registration e-mail.


  • To qualify for the research internship program, students must be currently enrolled in a high school or equivalent educational institution. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) fields.

  • Selected interns are expected to commit to the full duration of the program, which typically spans 12 weeks. Interns must attend all scheduled sessions, workshops, and meetings unless prior arrangements have been made with program coordinators.

  • Interns are required to adhere to strict confidentiality agreements and respect the intellectual property rights of the institution and its researchers. Any unauthorized disclosure of confidential information is strictly prohibited and may result in termination of the internship.
  • Interns will receive periodic evaluations from their supervising researchers or mentors to assess their progress and performance throughout the internship program.
  • Failure to complete the drafts in a timely manner may result in cancellation of scheduled meetings by the mentor. Submitted drafts will be reviewed for feedback within a window of 24 hours.
  • Suitable research papers will be submitted to high school journals. The student will bear the application fee of the journal. We do not take any responsibility of rejections for publication.



  • No food or drinks are allowed in the class.
  • Students must dress up properly.
  • Cell phones are not allowed to be used during class. 
  • Appropriate action will be taken against any student indulging in any misbehavior or intentional disturbance during the class.
  • All homework must be duly completed and submitted by the due date
  • Students must have a notebook, pen or pencil and eraser, and a folder to keep all worksheets


Parents/Legal guardians agree to:

  • Make the payments in a timely manner
  • Keep all Confidential Information strictly confidential and not disclose it to any third party without the prior written consent of the Company.
  • Use the Confidential Information solely for the purpose of obtaining college application services for their student(s) enrolled with the Company.
  • Take all reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of the Confidential Information.


onlinechalk will not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, punitive or special damages, of any nature, arising from or in connection with your program, even if onlinechalk was aware of the possibility of such damages. Except for the guarantee specified, onlinechalk denies all warranties, whether expressed, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. onlinechalk’s total liability arising from your program will not exceed the amount paid for the program. In particular, regarding admission counseling services, onlinechalk makes no warranties regarding (a) the chances of success in gaining admission to a program, (b) whether the services will improve or negatively impact your application, or (c) any guarantee of admission to any program. onlinechalk will not be liable for your failure to be admitted to any program.”


These Student Enrollment Agreement Terms and Conditions and any claim or dispute arising out of, relating to or in connection with these Student Enrollment Agreement Terms and Conditions or the transactions contemplated hereby, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland without giving effect to its conflicts of law principles. The exclusive means of resolving any such claim or dispute shall be binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association. The one exception to the exclusivity of arbitration is that you have the right to bring an individual claim against Company in a small-claims court of competent jurisdiction. But whether you choose arbitration or small-claims court, you may not under any circumstances commence or maintain against the Company any class action, class arbitration, or other representative action or proceeding.
